Update March 2026: There's now a man at the till (he's quite young, wears glasses, and isn't Mr. Perotti) = in addition to speaking strangely (yeah, right, and other onomatopoeic sounds including throat clearing and sniffing), he makes fun of the customers—but it's not a hidden camera prank—help, Mr. Perotti, we prefer the ladies! (Historic bakery, Bigot, now Perotti, on Rue Flaubert, where we go back from time to time, especially for the pastries)

Pierre Hermé - Galeries Lafayette Gourmet

17/07/2026: Typical fast food place, nothing special, except that it's inside Galeries Lafayette, which makes it beautiful. The view from the terrace is truly stunning.

26/06/2026: Best pastry shop in the neighborhood, everything is delicious. The breads are also perfect. It's rare to find such consistently excellent pastries and bread. The negative reviews are completely unfounded, as if they come from jealous competitors or are simply a mistake. Admittedly, the service can sometimes be a bit rushed, but that's for the sake of efficiency, especially on weekends. In short, I recommend it without hesitation; my friends even come from far and wide in Paris for their multigrain baguette and their Passy cake.
