Pierre Hermé - Parly 2 sur Le Chesnay

We are from Berlin and came to Versailles to visit the palace. We were running quite late and absolutely needed to buy some macarons to bring back home for our friends and family. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, all the shops in Paris would already have been closed, and here as well we only arrived shortly before closing time. The next morning, our flight back to Berlin was leaving very early. In other words, this was our last chance to get some macarons. And what can I say? We were not disappointed at all. Lisa was incredibly kind to us and spoke excellent English, which made the shopping experience and her recommendations very enjoyable. We even had time for a bit of small talk. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience! If we are ever in the area again, we would be very happy to come back and hope that Lisa is still there. Warm greetings from Berlin! 😊

We were promised an Easter egg hunt with prizes, but when the day arrived: the trip was pointless; the hunt was cancelled. It would have delighted your many customers at that stand. (P.S. Cakes are a bit fragile at the moment.)

Christopher gave us a very warm welcome and guided us perfectly in our choices; the macarons are as delicious as ever. A special mention goes to the Olive Oil - Vanilla and Subtle Garden macarons with Espelette pepper. I highly recommend this to all pastry and chocolate lovers.
