This bakery has excellent bread and pastries. They also offer delicious cakes and breakfast options to eat in. The staff could be more pleasant.

Yesterday we went to this bakery for sandwiches. They were excellent, and for dessert, we were recommended, and I quote, "the best flan in La Rochelle." Okay, we tried it... and we can confirm. You simply feel like you're eating the custard straight from the pan. It's melt-in-your-mouth, the crust is thin, exceptional. Thanks to the owner for the recommendation! 👌

Since discovering Rêveur de Pain, I've been delighted by their professional expertise. Today I discovered videos where the owner showcases herself beautifully. I also learned the name of one of their employees (Maxine), a name of Greek origin, which I hadn't heard before. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend their high-quality, homemade products—artisanal and absolutely delicious.

Excellent welcome... clean and bright shop... a variety of breads and pastries just begging to be tasted... and indeed, very good... Didn't have time to try everything... I'll be back, that's for sure...

Hello, well, how can I put it? It's a trap for foodies!!! Those of us who aren't foodies, let us go (that'll mean more for us 😅). As a big foodie, it's a pleasure to grab lunch there (and I promise I'll take my break on the terrace one day). I highly recommend it; the staff are friendly and pleasant, and everything is excellent. So, foodies, go for it!!

Very disappointed by Nina Metayer's products (yes, like everyone else, I tried them and was very disappointed by both the drop in quality and the exorbitant price increase – an individual pastry for €9.50, you've got to be kidding me!!), I found the holy grail in this establishment, recommended by a friend who works nearby. Superb and delicious pastries (the trompe l'oeuf, this holiday season's is to die for), excellent bread that stays fresh for over 24 hours, attentive staff – what more could you ask for? Even though I live far away, I'll now gladly make the trip (by bike, of course)!
