Pizza Bel Ostia sur Reims

14/06/2026: The pizzas and tiramisu are to die for! The price is more than reasonable for this quality of pizza!

01/06/2026: Good pizza. The cornicione was well done, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, uneven, slightly charred, and not overdone like in some pseudo-Neapolitan pizzerias. The tomatoes and mozzarella were good without being exceptional: the mozzarella had a rather subtle flavor, and the tomato sauce was too heavily seasoned with oregano, resulting in a slightly overly sweet taste. It's the kind of sauce you also find in Italy, it's just not my favorite. The atmosphere is pleasant, with nice Neapolitan music and a lovely terrace, though it does have those clichés that the French love so much (plastic lemons, empty Chianti bottles...). At least the plates weren't plastic/fake ceramic (like in an IT-trattoria...) or, even worse, decorated with a Vespa. Overall, a good Neapolitan pizzeria, reasonably authentic, even if perhaps not my absolute favorite.
