Really good, strong coffee served with a smile! Excellent orange juice freshly squeezed right in front of you. A perfect spot for a quick break before or after your visit to the market at Edgard Quinet. Have a lovely day everyone!

A lovely breakfast on the terrace. The Parisian breakfast is €12 and includes a hot drink, toast, jam, a pain au chocolat or croissant, and a large fresh orange juice. The waiter was pleasant. In short, a great time 👍

Arriving in the blazing sun, I settled down at the bar. The air was cool. I ordered a lemonade. It wasn't expensive enough for the waiter, who didn't hesitate to refuse customers who had come for coffee: "We don't serve hot drinks in 30 degrees Celsius." The result? I paid eleven euros for a (very good) lemonade, leaving me with a hefty bill. I think I paid extra for the refreshing mist. I recommend it for the exotic atmosphere, but not for your wallet!

The servers were skilled and very patient despite the high volume of customers for the World Cup. They were also very friendly. There were also plenty of screens where you could watch the match well. I recommend it.

16/07/2026: I couldn't possibly be objective about this café! I've known it for at least 20 years! For me, it's the best in Bastille! I don't go anywhere else... why? It's run by friends who offer excellent food in an impeccable setting! The staff is welcoming without being pretentious, attentive, and quick! Since the opera house is across the street, the evenings of dress rehearsals and premieres create an incredible atmosphere with the opera staff and orchestra, who have made it a true artistic headquarters!
