A pizzeria I'm going to miss a lot; it was a constant companion during many evenings spent studying, then during training, and later during the first years of my professional career. That evening I thought, "Hey, I think I'll order a pizza from them, it's been a while!" and I discovered that the place is apparently closed. I hope everything is alright for the staff, and thank you again for all those evenings when I couldn't be bothered to cook! :)

Pizza Roll is closed!!!! I ordered a pizza after August 15th on their website. After 45 minutes, Pizza Roll in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon contacted me to say that the Avignon location was closed. Waiting for nothing... not nice. Today (October 10, 2025), Pizza Roll Avignon is permanently closed...RIP

06/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The waiter who greeted us and looked after our table throughout our lunch was very pleasant and smiling. We ordered two set lunch menus. One included a starter and main course: the frog leg was rather bland, but the portion was reasonable for a starter. The daily special, a fillet of pollock, was good, accompanied by a trio of rice that was tasty but cold, and the vegetables were very good. The second option included a main course and dessert: I was disappointed by the beef, which was tough and rather fatty, but the accompanying fries and vegetables were very good. The homemade cheesecake with mango coulis was a very generous and tasty slice. The portions were more than adequate. The wait before the main course was served was quite long.

Vezzo Pizza

17/05/2026: Solid foundations (friendly staff, very good and thin pizza crust, excellent tomato sauce) and missteps (bland cream base, sometimes strange ingredient choices, coffee to avoid...). It's so close to being something great, which is a shame.
