01/02/2026: The pizzas were delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming!
They took the time to come and chat with us without being intrusive.
31/01/2026: Discovered by chance during a quick trip to the area with a friend. The setting is simply magnificent. The decor is vibrant, the vaulted cellar is perfect for intimate gatherings, and there's a wide selection on the menu.
Unfortunately, and I must be frank, there might be a few too many choices to guarantee efficiency and, above all, freshness of the food.
I opted for a classic: a hamburger. It was sorely lacking in flavor and spice. I couldn't taste the individual ingredients; the ground beef was bland, though cooked to perfection. There was also bacon, not sliced, but a twisted, uncrispy mass of lard...
My colleague had chosen another classic: flank steak with shallots. The meat was incredibly tough, and despite the knife provided, I felt sorry for my friend. Being a big eater, he nevertheless finished his plate. That being said, I'm not criticizing the establishment, nor the owner and her young, very friendly and helpful waitstaff. Rather, I'm pointing the finger at the chef.
I think drastically reducing the menu to guarantee quality and fresh ingredients would be THE solution. Not wanting to dwell on this disappointment, I'll return because I appreciated the ambiance.
I hope these few criticisms, which I hope the owner has read, have been taken into consideration and won't be taken the wrong way. That's not the point here.
