Pizzaiol sur Chatenois

We stopped for lunch while passing through. Excellent pizza, impeccable service. Get off the highway, it's cheaper and much better!

Discovered yesterday at lunchtime, we live in the area but hadn't been before. Lunchtime, feeling a bit peckish, not much choice in Châtenois, so we went, and what a pleasant surprise! Everything was delicious and very fresh. For dessert, my partner's "café très gourmand" (a very indulgent coffee) was divine, and my salted caramel ice cream was equally amazing. Just one small hiccup: only one server, very friendly but overwhelmed, but oh well, we had time... We'll definitely be back...

The best pizzas within a 30km radius, no question about it.

Passing through Châtenois, I had lunch at this restaurant, which looked very inviting from the outside, unlike the rather dreary street. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being full and only one person serving. The meal was generous and very good. I recommend Le Pizzaiol.

Bravo! Perfect welcome. The dishes are excellent. Cooked to perfection. The service is efficient and friendly. A must-try.

We searched around the area where we’re staying for some vegan food, and although there were no vegan options mentioned on the menu, we decided to go there and ask directly. The staff didn’t speak English, but somehow we managed to understand each other, and they prepared two large and very tasty salads specially adapted for us, plus a Four Seasons pizza without cheese. We were really impressed by how good everything tasted — both the vegetables and the pizza dough were excellent. The food arrived very quickly, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much! We started our holiday in the best possible way with our first meal here. 😊
