We stopped for lunch before reading the reviews and seeing the restaurant's overall rating.
Honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. Okay, it's not Michelin-starred cuisine. But honestly, for a small restaurant run by two (very friendly) people, tucked away in the middle of nowhere in a beautiful setting, it's more than satisfactory.
We received a very warm welcome, the setting was beautiful, the atmosphere friendly, and the staff excellent. We had a wonderful meal: a delicious salad, excellent and fresh meat, and a superb dessert with homemade ice cream. I highly recommend it.
We will definitely return.
Honestly, I hadn't read the reviews before coming. And luckily I didn't. We had the ravioli and it wasn't bad. A small, unpretentious place. And the welcome was much friendlier than the restaurant next door (near the water museum) which turned us away because it was full...
