Very disappointed today with the service atmosphere... I came two years ago and have been several times since, always very good and very welcoming... but currently very disappointed

Noisy when it's full. Quality products, some supplied by local producers. The ventilation needs improvement, as the bakery smells permeate the dining areas; you leave with smelly clothes. And please, no smiles at all!

A great place to eat excellent pizzas made with quality, locally sourced ingredients. The pizzas are very generously topped! Service was adequate. However, be aware that the prices are higher, expect to pay between €16 and €30 for a pizza. But the ingredients are top-notch. On the other hand, the drinks (€9.50 for a spritz) are not justified in Rimbach.

The pizza with the black crust is easy to digest and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza. Friendly service. A bit of a mountain chalet atmosphere.

A truly great experience. The best pizzas within a 150km radius! You can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients! A huge thank you to the whole team and especially the owner! You can tell he's a true professional.

L'Aigle d'Or - Chez Marck

09/06/2026: A beautiful place, relaxing setting, charming staff and excellent cuisine.
05/06/2026: We've eaten at L'AO three times already. Each time, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. Every course is exquisite. They cook superbly with fantastic ingredients. Although L'AO is off the beaten tourist track, it's well worth the slight detour in every respect. The prices are also very fair overall, including the well-thought-out wine list. The restaurant also offers comfortable rooms for overnight stays. For us, L'AO is always a highlight among the many restaurants in southern Alsace.
