Out of curiosity, I returned to Xav's after many years and was delighted to see this establishment again, which has retained its authentic charm. The pizza had a thin crust but was surprisingly generous, and the dessert was very generous: two scoops of ice cream and whipped cream served in a seashell.
The chef-owner is friendly, and so is the young waitress. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, like being in the countryside, which is exactly what we love when we're traveling. The prices are very reasonable, with, for example, a very generous portion of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and chestnut cream, perfect for sharing between two people.
