Pizzeria des Arcades sur Nice

I was very surprised. We often pass by this brasserie when we come to see our children. The bill has always deterred me. Some reviews are truly disproportionate and unjustified. We stopped by today and the waiter was very attentive. Our grandchildren only wanted pasta with butter. No problem. Our dishes were very fresh and excellent: veal Milanese with fries and a burrata pizza. We will be back.

Nathalie, the Corsican ice cream and a nice cold beer were great!! Thanks Nath

🇬🇧 We had such a wonderful experience here on August 16th! There were three of us — two adults and a child — and we came quite late, at almost 10 pm. The service was absolutely outstanding. A very special thank you to the younger of the two waiters who were working that evening. Unfortunately, we didn’t ask his name, but he truly deserves to be recognized. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, cheerful, energetic, kind and professional. Even though it was already late in the evening, he was full of positive energy and looked after us with genuine care and attention. He really made our evening special. I visit Nice often, and I can honestly say that we have rarely experienced service of this level here. I also worked for two years in an Italian restaurant while on assignment from London, so I know how demanding restaurant work can be and I really appreciate exceptional service when I see it. The whole team working that evening—both the waiters and the gentleman behind the bar—did a great job, but the younger of the two waiters really stood out and deserves a special mention. I hope management sees this review and passes on our thanks to him! And of course, the food was delicious too! We had pizza and steaks, and everything was excellent. Wonderful food, a warm atmosphere, and truly outstanding service. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. We will definitely be happy to come back. Everything was excellent, congratulations!! Natalie is super nice and friendly, the best waitress I've ever met.

A very special thank you to Nathalie, a very pleasant and helpful waitress with customers.

I was looking for a pizzeria at lunchtime. As a vegetarian, some restaurants don't offer a lot of choice but Les Arcades had a number of options. I had a quatre fromages pizza, un pastis, le sorbet, and un café. Service was very quick and the food absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed their fantastic choice in music. I must specifically mention the sorbet. I had citron, cassis et framboise. Unlike many that I have had, this had real fruit in it with a lovely refreshing tang. Prices were also very reasonable. It is next to a busy road around the port but that's not the restaurant's fault. The arcade was cool and a good escape from the sun. A fantastic place for lunch.

This place is a gem! The food is divinely delicious. The serving is an amazingly generous portion. The owner and staff went above and beyond with their service. Will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful meal; it was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff is fantastic! 👍 I highly recommend this restaurant!

A great spot under the arcades, the owner is very friendly and so are the servers. The food is excellent, especially the pizzas! I highly recommend it; there's even shade available if it's really hot!

Absolutely amazing food! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the pasta was rich and delicious, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming. If you're visiting Nice, this place is a must-try! One of the best meals we've had on the French Riviera. 🤩
