Delicious Italian pizza, thin and crispy Italian-style crust, bravo! Succulent tiramisu and panna cotta, long live Italy!

Nothing exceptional. Far from the best pizza I've tasted in Marseille (as a native of Marseille). Very cold welcome and the takeaway pizza wasn't even cut...

The wine, the pizzas, the dessert—everything was delicious. The ingredients are high quality, and you can tell; no need for overly complicated recipes. Best pizza in Marseille. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the restaurant isn't very big, so you can't hear yourself think when it starts to fill up, but personally, it didn't bother me too much.

After trying La Bonne Mère, there's no desire to go to another pizzeria.

This little restaurant has a soul; the checkered tablecloths, the photos of ancestors on the wall, the views of 19th-century Marseille… time seems to have stood still, and you sense that nothing is left to chance! The menu evokes the Provence of Pagnol. I order a Pape pizza with anchovies: I'm not usually a big fan, but my neighbor has just been served this pizza, which looks incredible and makes my mouth water! Here we go; mine arrives quickly, and oh my goodness, it's a delight! Pure bliss: everything is perfect! The balance of flavors, the texture of the dough, the freshness of the ingredients; for me, one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted! Go there without hesitation! I highly recommend it! Note: the tiramisu is also very good, and to top it all off, when I went to pay I was telling the waiter how much I enjoyed it, and he was so kind as to offer me a little limoncello before I left; honestly, that was a nice touch.

I took advantage of a weekend in Marseille to go to Notre-Dame de la Garde (the "Bonne Mère") for a pizza, a long-held dream finally fulfilled. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. The place is intimate and steeped in history. My only slight complaint is the somewhat distant welcome. Expect to pay between €25 and €35 ​​per person on average.
