We came with three children one evening in August and ordered four pizzas to share and drinks for everyone. The waiter told us we had to pay a €7 cover charge for the child who wasn't ordering a full pizza. Outrageous. It's a real shame because the pizzas are very good.

It looks like a simple pizza, but it is high-quality. Traditionally ground with a millstone, this T80 (farine de meule) flour. This preserves the healthy oils and wheat germ better than modern industrial steel rollers, resulting in a beautiful light brown color and light fermentation. Great taste. This pizzeria is a rare find. Friendly service and people; it can get busy due to takeout orders, but your patience is rewarded with a tasty pizza.

We order very regularly and, unanimously, it's clearly the best pizzeria in Les Sables-d'Olonne. The pizzas are always excellent and made with top-quality ingredients. We especially loved the Black Truffo and the tiramisu. La Fringale is run by a lovely young couple, always smiling and very friendly. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and have been coming back to it again and again since they opened!
