I always enjoy my visit to Café Prinder, an authentic spot in the heart of the Capucins market in Marseille. The welcome is friendly and warm, perfect for enjoying a coffee or mint tea on the terrace while watching the neighborhood bustle. According to many visitors, the staff is lovely and the family atmosphere creates a real break in the day. I highly recommend this quintessential Marseilles stop 😊☕️🌞

05/05/2026: Our first stop for a meal in Marseille. As we walked by I saw the most amazing panko crusted chicken Ceasars salad fit for 2 and had to stop. The burgers that passed by to other table looke tempting. Our first glass of wine was outstanding, just as I remember from rural Provence. I had the quinoa salad with a side of fries and it did not disappoint. The server was delightful and patient with my lack of french, but we tried. I recommend and will return to Place Castellane during my stay.
