After 3 weeks of vacation in Gonfaron and its surroundings, for the last evening we went to the little restaurant Chez Alain, Restaurant La Victoire in Gonfaron, where we received a very warm welcome and ate very well for a more than reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Grandma's birthday. Alain is incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was fantastic. The portions were very generous, and the desserts were absolutely divine. Thank you for this exceptional experience.

I had a delicious pizza (and I'm a picky eater!) and the dessert was fresh and really good. The service was very pleasant. The waitress and the owner were really friendly, smiling, and helpful. There's a large terrace to enjoy the place. I recommend it.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were greeted by the incredibly kind owner. The pizzas and meat dishes were delicious, all homemade, including the (delicious) fries, and the value for money was unbeatable! Thank you again, we will gladly return.

The pizzas are excellent. The crust is thin and the ingredients are high quality; you don't taste the acidity of the tomato sauce. The welcome is friendly and the service is quick, allowing you to linger and enjoy your meal. The perfect balance of ingredients will ensure you have a great time enjoying a delicious pizza. I highly recommend it, and it's rare for me to leave reviews.

McDonald's

09/07/2026: It's a real shame. There are plenty of options online to indicate the opening hours of the restaurant and the drive-thru separately. When we arrived, it stated that both the restaurant and the drive-thru were still open for plenty of time. Once inside (11 PM), it turned out that eating in the restaurant was no longer possible, even though they indicated that the restaurant and the drive-thru would be open until well past midnight. In the end, we just used the drive-thru, and after having had French McDonald's for 25 years, this was once again not a good one. I don't know what it is with McDonald's in France, but the quality provided is utterly pathetic. Fries cold, definitely reheated for the second time or more, nuggets cold. Fortunately, the burgers were warm. That's why, instead of 1 star, I'm giving 3 stars. I wonder if there is even a single McDonald's in France that is worth 5 stars.
03/07/2026: Maeva gave me a very warm welcome; she was very friendly and pleasant. I recommend this restaurant.
