I sincerely want to thank the entire Burger King team who made it possible for me to eat a hot meal today when I only had €3 on me. My wallet was stolen, and I found myself in a situation I had never experienced before: almost no purchasing power, far from home, and unable to pay more. Despite this, your team showed immense understanding and genuine humanity. Thanks to you, I was able to eat like a queen for next to nothing. I also want to mention that I am a loyal customer, even though I've only been coming here for about a month, simply because I recently moved to the area. You could very well have done nothing special, accepted what I could pay, and moved on. Instead, you chose to be humane, understanding, and kind. After two days without much food or water, this gesture might seem simple to some, but for me, it meant so much. It helped me physically, but especially emotionally. I had never experienced hunger or hardship before. I'm fortunate to have a degree, a family, and loved ones, but they're currently almost nine hours away and can't help me immediately. Being alone, far from home, without a wallet, and with almost nothing really makes you realize how quickly a situation can change. So thank you. Thank you for your kindness, your understanding, your lack of judgment, and for this gesture that truly warmed my heart. Even when you're alone and far from home, difficult times become a little less burdensome when you meet people like you. I won't forget your kindness.
