The restaurant location is handy, walking distance from the beach in Toulon. The interior is beautiful and quiet. The service is quick, the food is tasty--delicious lamb curry and naan--the prices are affordable.

Still as good as ever, and the dishes are quite refined, served quickly and with a friendly touch. The tables are beautifully set, and you'll have a pleasant time in this elegant restaurant. From the outside, this restaurant looks rather drab, old-fashioned, and unappealing... in short, not very inviting. But as soon as you step inside, you realize that the setting is elegant and exotic, if a little dark. It's located in the heart of the Mourillon shopping district: in Toulon, Raj Mahal is the only establishment that truly does justice to Indian and (especially) Pakistani cuisine. Be aware of the extra charges on the menus; the most expensive options aren't always the best value. On the menu (and especially online), the presentation of the dishes is completely botched and unappealing, particularly for the smaller menus (which are so unappealing they don't make you want to order them at all; perhaps this is intentional?). It's baffling why some of the more expensive menus don't include dessert and/or basmati rice, unlike the less expensive ones. The prices for rice and naan bread à la carte are truly outrageous! Nevertheless, overall, the restaurant offers fairly good value for money.

I had a wonderful time with my friends last night; we had booked a table for 12. The service was okay, nothing exceptional, but the staff was friendly. The food was fantastic, with great flavors, especially the tender and juicy tandoori chicken, just the way we like it. The waiter brought us cheesenaan almost as much as we could eat. We all agreed, it's a winner! Especially for a total of €26 including a starter and main course. One small downside was the water, which wasn't very good... a shame.

Great discovery in the town center of Mourrillon! Delicious, tasty, generous dishes with very affordable quality/price! In addition, the service and atmosphere are extremely pleasant and attentive! My son and I enjoyed our two times at the Raj Mahal, which takes us into their world with its flavors and expertise! See you soon!
