Rajasthan Villa sur Toulouse

A special place! We visited for my birthday and we were the first to arrive at an empty restaurant. I'd recommend the special set menu if you don't want to wade through the generous à la carte selection. The staff are very attentive. When our French faded, they spoke good English. We were asked if we wanted mild or hot spice by the considerate waiter. The ambience is magical - while waiting for your food, look up at the beautiful room decoration, especially the ceiling plasterwork. A rich fruit cocktail arrived before the starter, which was a nice surprise. The starter was generous and tasty, with a cheese naan. The main was a generous basmati rice dish with a delicious selection of tandoori chicken and lamb, prawn curry, and chicken korma. The tandoori arrived on a sizzling dish! The different tastes went well with the bottle of house white wine. A choice of dessert was served afterwards. The restaurant was full before we finished! We'll be back here next time in Toulouse!

For eight years we've been coming from Tarn-et-Garonne to this restaurant. The staff, who have never changed, are truly fantastic—ultra-welcoming, kind, and caring! Their dishes are to die for!!!! The portions are more than generous; only my husband finishes, and I take the rest home… The little welcome cocktail is very pleasant… Their cheese naan is amazing… Their samosas are simply divine! And we've tried all the main courses, and they're all flawless! Keep up the good work! It's fantastic! And the decor is sublime, by the way!

It's always a good option to try Indian cuisine and if you tell them to make it spicy, it's quite close to the original taste. Staff is courteous and fast enough for an Indian restaurant.

⚠️ Book on TheFork! €15-20 for a "dish" consisting of four small pieces of meat, with no sides. It's only worthwhile thanks to TheFork discounts, or a dish, rice, and naan can cost around €15 per person. There are serious questions about the crustaceans living in the fountain at the entrance; the conditions for these poor creatures are questionable. Otherwise, the food is good, but nothing special.

We were there for dinner and it was delicious. The decor is 100% Moroccan, but it doesn't detract from the experience at all. The cheese naan is delicious. The portions are very generous, and we were also offered appetizers. Highly recommended!
