Ralph's sur Paris

We love coming here whenever we visit Paris. For us it is a classic. A romantic evening as a couple or with friends. We will always come back. This time we were surprised by the beef carpaccio, it was delicious… and You have to save room for the 5-layer chocolate cake.

Ralph’s Restaurant I had the opportunity to dine at Ralph’s, the restaurant created by Ralph Lauren in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and the experience perfectly reflects the brand’s aesthetic universe: a highly successful blend of American elegance and Parisian sophistication. The restaurant is located within the Ralph Lauren boutique, in a former 17th-century hôtel particulier, accessed through an elegant passageway that opens onto an interior courtyard. This courtyard—with its greenery, iron lanterns, and a small fountain—is one of the most pleasant places to dine in Paris, especially in spring and summer. It has something of a secret garden in the middle of the city, a serene atmosphere that contrasts with the pace of Boulevard Saint-Germain. The interior continues this same aesthetic narrative. Dark woods, aged leather, natural stone, and equestrian details create a warm atmosphere that is very much in keeping with the Ralph Lauren aesthetic. There are even rustic frescoes, saddle blankets, and sturdy chairs that subtly evoke the world of horses and the American countryside. The lighting is soft and romantic, with candles and iron lamps creating a very cozy atmosphere. The cuisine is defined as American classics reinterpreted with a touch of European elegance. The menu includes very recognizable dishes—Maryland-style crab cakes, lobster rolls, hamburgers, steaks, and New York cheesecake—prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous presentation. In my experience, the food maintains an interesting balance: it's relatively straightforward, without unnecessary frills, but very well presented and with high-quality ingredients. Some dishes even have a certain French refinement in their execution, which makes the overall experience more sophisticated than a simple "American diner." But what probably makes Ralph's special isn't just the food, but the atmosphere. It's one of those restaurants where everything seems to belong to the same universe: the tableware, the service, the design of the space, and the rhythm of the experience all share the same aesthetic. You have the feeling of being in a gastronomic extension of the Ralph Lauren style, where luxury is understated and the atmosphere relaxed. In short, Ralph's is one of those places that perfectly defines the spirit of Saint-Germain: elegant, cosmopolitan, and with a very clear aesthetic identity. A restaurant where gastronomy blends with design, fashion, and ambiance, and where it's always a pleasure to stop and enjoy a leisurely meal in the heart of Paris.

A discovery made with colleagues, where we had a very pleasant evening. The service was impeccable and luxurious. The atmosphere was dimly lit and warm. The food was very good, but not exceptional. The prices were high, but you know what you're getting: Ralph's restaurant in Paris.

Very nice restaurant with low, cozy lighting and a great atmosphere. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The food was good — nothing extraordinary, but overall we enjoyed our meal and everything was tasty. The dessert at the end was also delicious and a perfect way to finish the evening!

Same nice atmosphere as the other branches in the US 🇺🇸 good service, classic American comfort amongst the starters and entrees, very good location, will come back!

Stopped by Ralph’s for a pre-dinner drink. Good service and very nice cocktails. A pity the winter cold kept us from enjoying the beautiful terrace.

It was a good experience overall, but the food was nothing special esp. given the higher prices

We only ordered burgers (we requested the salad on the side). The burger and fries were delicious, honestly, but a bit heavy and filling, thank God. The place is lovely, even though it's relatively small. The service is excellent, they're very helpful. 👍🏼 Their only drawback is that the prices are a bit high, but otherwise, they're excellent.

We reserved a table for four people. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and our coats were kept safe. We ordered food, which was very well-served and delicious. However, my mother's order included a chicken roasted on a stone (a considerable size) that came with a baked leaf underneath the protein. We showed it to the waitress, who said there was nothing she could do. We showed it to another employee who saw it was a stone, but she didn't apologize and simply left. The dish was at the beginning of the meal, and they didn't suggest another dish. As the restaurant was full, they acted as if nothing had happened. When we asked for the bill, they hadn't charged us for the dish with the stone.
