A very warm welcome, magnificent setting. Don't listen to the Parisians who wouldn't dare ask for a coffee during their lunch break!

A really nice place for a meal by the lake on the terrace, a warm and smiling welcome, simple but refined cuisine, managers who don't count their hours and despite all the negative comments keep smiling.

Having not booked, we were seated on a Sunday at lunchtime despite the restaurant being full. The owner, who runs the service single-handedly, did her best, but she was clearly overwhelmed, and the kitchen was in the same state… In short, if I go back, I'll book during the week if possible.

Nice spot with a small pond, perfect for cooling off when it's very hot; a short but pleasant walk.

We had a wonderful time. The lamb shank was delicious and the apricot bavarois was divine! Thank you again for your hospitality.

The waitress gave us a warm and friendly welcome; she was a very kind lady and served delicious, home-style cooking. We had a wonderful lunch by the Lac du Bonheur in Camprieu and were so delighted that we returned in the evening. The venison steak with homemade fries was delicious... a choice of starter, cheese, and dessert for €25. The restaurant is very pleasant, with a stunning view of the lake as a bonus. I highly recommend it and don't listen to the negative gossip. I will be back as soon as I can. Many thanks to the lady who served us so well.

Superb setting and very good food, hence my 4/5 rating. However, I agree with other comments regarding the menus displayed. Major problems! For the children's menu (€16.50, overpriced but oh well), it says "desserts." In reality, it's a set dessert: ice cream, and you can't choose the flavors (strawberry and banana, which have already frozen solid because they were prepared in advance). The owner tells us that the two daily specials are included in the menus. In reality, that's an extra €5 on the bill! There's also a €17.50 menu listed on the first page. In reality, it no longer exists and hasn't for quite some time! It's a shame because, aside from the menu issues, it's good! We ate well, it was delicious.
