We came for the second time because the carp is excellent, truly! Very few bones, which is rare for me as I usually attract them. The semolina, poppy seed, and beer mixture is exceptional!
However, while we understand that many restaurants struggle to find staff, this experience was somewhat marred by a few issues. On our first visit, the wait was long, and we had to leave "early" because we had other commitments starting around 3 or 4 pm. Today, we had to wait 20-30 minutes just to order our aperitifs. So far, so good, we were patient. Then the main courses arrived, but two side dishes were missing. Admittedly, some are prepared in the morning for the day and may run out, but it would have been helpful to inform us beforehand. Two people ate a dish without any sides. Since the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, one person had almost finished their lunch when the others were able to start, and some of the side dishes had gone cold.
I don't know if there's a communication problem within the team, a staff shortage, or if they should consider taking fewer reservations if the service and food aren't up to par.
I should mention, however, that we received a discount and that the carp remains, for the three of us, the best in the region! We hope to return, but we might arrive a little earlier to avoid the rush and any oversights by the staff, who seem overwhelmed but remain extremely friendly.

A fantastic welcome 😊 warm waitresses and great service. Beautiful presentation and dishes kept warm. However, I found the fried carp more oily than anything I've tasted before, and the salad portion was very small.

We highly recommend this restaurant! It's very good, very friendly, and the service is impeccable. The waitresses were very welcoming. The food was excellent; we had frog legs in cream sauce, and the portion was more than enough—perfect for big eaters. A very good experience; thank you for your warm welcome.
