I think this place is great. The ambiance is just as it ought to be for what & where it is. It’s like the Cours Julien used to be before it got so hip (including the “cash only” policy), a bit rough and ready & not terribly clean, but if you’re not too fussed & willing to go with the flow it’s perfectly fine. The service is amusingly inept, but the chap was very friendly & doing his best. As to the food, Granny is in the kitchen & the food is delicious, authentic & the portions are just right. (Try the Ti punch if you want a real kick.) I had a fab time & will def be back.

Fantastic evening, best time I’ve had in a while at a restaurant. Authentic good time. Nothing pretentious, just good creole vibe and really friendly staff. I hope to come again soon! Thank you!
