restaurant Chengdu sur Paris

The welcome was both brusque and friendly. There's nothing in French in this functional space where tables sit alongside crates of Tsingtao beer. But on the plate, you'll find Sichuan cuisine, of which Chengdu is the capital. The chicken with dried chilies and the beef with cumin are unforgettable. Grandma's cooking, Chinese style. Very reasonable prices. If possible, avoid the second-floor dining room. The restrooms are basic but clean.

My favourite Sichuan restaurant anywhere. When in Paris I always visit. Food is delicious. The shredded cabbage with chilli is particularly good, as is their Kung Pao king prawns. Large portions. Basic interior, but come for the food.

The Mapo Tofu is so delicious. It is generously sprinkled with Sichuan peppercorns, so it has a numbing flavor rather than being spicy.

I went here based on recommendations from Koreans!! We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, Kung Pao Chicken, and Mapo Tofu, and all my friends said it was delicious!!! 🥵🤍 We were so stuffed that even though four of us (two men and two women) ordered three dishes, we still had leftovers. The portions are huge. The price is under 15 euros too... Great value for money. I don't think it came out to even 10 euros per person ;;;;;;;; You have to go here! The restaurant is clean and nice.
