It was really bad. The taste was just so-so. The waiters treated Chinese and foreigners very differently. They were very enthusiastic towards foreigners, but very indifferent towards us. The service was extremely poor. The Mapo Tofu tasted like just seasoning.

The food was delicious, though the portions were small. The environment was clean and comfortable.
The pricing was higher than budget restaurants, but not outrageous.
The staff had a trained air of indifference: polite language, friendly inquiries, and all the necessary services were provided; however, some subtle details revealed their lack of concern for you.

This is my second time in the South of France. Aix-en-Provence is a beautiful city, and finding this Chinese restaurant was perfect for Taiwanese tastes; every dish was delicious, and the owner was very welcoming.
I've only stayed four nights and come here twice XD

Visited for dinner on a Sunday - the area was very quiet but Li Palace was quite busy with clientele from all over the world it was clear they’re serving something worthwhile. I feel the food could do with some minor improvements without being harsh and definitely not enough to lose a star. Dishes came out without long delays, and they had clearly been prepared with care. The single waiter managed to hold down the entire restaurant on his own without keeping us for too long and being attentive, pleasant, welcoming and polite. The food was somewhat lacking flavours for me, however still a fantastic meal in Aix especially if you’re looking for cuisine which is not your average French fare.

Chinese people all go there! The portions are huge! The dumplings are incredibly delicious, even better than those in China! The service is excellent, and the owner is very nice.

Certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Aix-en-Provence. Truly traditional dishes. The welcome is always warm. The price is very reasonable. A must-try if you enjoy good food or if you want to discover the cuisine of a part of China.

Great Chinese restaurant. A small room at the entrance and a larger one upstairs. The decor is simple yet beautifully presented with lovely tableware.
The service is very pleasant. The food is excellent, with classic dishes and vegetarian options not included in the menu. Be warned, the portions are generous! I ordered two dishes (tofu with chives and eggplant on a griddle – both very tender and flavorful) and a bowl of plain rice, and I still had room for dessert. I'll be back! Highly recommended!

After an intense day, all we wanted was a comforting meal. We found much more: the best oriental food in Aix, impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, attentive staff.
My mother dreamed of visiting the Provence region, and the experience at Li Palace will be cherished in her heart.
We would have liked to return again, but our time in Aix was short. Thank you and hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷 to you all!
