Restaurant Coteaux & Fourchettes sur Cairanne

I have eaten here a number of times in the last 12 years and every time it has been extremely good. Most recently we were a party of six, for a family occasion, for lunch on Monday. Food is extremely good (look at the menu and gallery and you'll see), and what is particularly lovely is the location and feel of the whole place. This is all managed by an extremely professional and friendly team of staff. The sommelier and cartes des vins (one for red, one for white wine) deserve a special mention! 20/20.

It was a pleasure to go there on Saturday in early October 2026. A very warm welcome, petit fours, an amuse-bouche, a delicious meal, and a superb dessert, accompanied by a delightful wine. It was very good and refined. Thank you.

Second visit to Coteaux et Fourchettes, and just as delighted as before. A warm welcome, superb cuisine, an exceptional wine list, and excellent recommendations from a passionate sommelier. Thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert for our birthdays. We will definitely return on our next visit.

This was our fourth visit over the last 10 years and the first that was a disappointment. The food is uniformly excellent and the half pigeon while tiny was superbly prepared. The service for a Friday night was pretty abysmal with the exception of the pleasant woman who took our food order. I do not know what was going on with the sommelier who was not even close to the caliber of all our past somms there. A temporary replacement? I can only hope. We brought a knowledgeable wine collector with us (personal cellar of 10,000+ bottles). After fluttering over to our table, the somm perfunctorily offered 2 and only 2 selections to our friend who described what he liked and asked for suggestions. It felt utterly dismissive. The somm proceeded to open and leave the wine on the table while we finished our champagne. He never returned to pour the wine or to ask if it was good. This is unforgiveable for a restaurant of this quality. The chef deserves a front of the house equal to his fine cooking. And I cannot help but share that from my place at our table with a full view of the bar/reception desk, there was obvious imbibing by the somm who also poured a bit for a couple of the staff. Our friend thought the somm smelled of alcohol. To cap it off I watched as a female staff member watered down the open bottle of Compari, shook it, and replaced the cap. She looked quickly about and thought she had not been seen. All of this is to say we left feeling badly for Chef Glemot. We obviously hit a very "off" night based on other reviews here and our own previously wonderful visits.

Lunch with friends at Côteaux & Fourchettes, and it's immediately apparent: the food is serious. Delicious dishes, impeccably presented plates, a clean and efficient service rhythm—it runs like clockwork. The crowd? Massive. And naturally, the noise level rises: a clear sign that the place is a hit, attracting customers and delivering delicious food. A bistronomic gem that's a smash, that fills up, and that keeps things interesting. Cairanne at his best.

A perfect moment, a pure delight from amuse-bouche to dessert… the welcome and service are also a strong point of this unmissable address in the region.
