A truly wonderful discovery, and above all, an address that undoubtedly deserves to be explored further. We had the pleasure of dining at this superb establishment as a group of eight since the arrival of the new owner, and the experience was remarkable in every respect. The Norman setting possesses an authentic and particularly pleasant charm, perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the house. The cuisine lives up to the setting: we notably enjoyed a leg of lamb and two rib steaks, all cooked over an open fire. Cooking over the fire gives the meat an absolutely remarkable depth and aromatic richness. The ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, are of exceptional quality, and the meat truly has an incomparable flavor. Generous, sincere, and perfectly executed cuisine. We would also like to emphasize the quality of the service. The two young men who looked after our table were incredibly kind, attentive, smiling, and impeccable throughout the meal. Professional service, without ever losing the convivial atmosphere that makes a fine restaurant so charming. Finally, a word about the new owner, who was particularly friendly and welcoming. Behind this new management, you can sense a genuine desire to revitalize the place, to showcase beautiful ingredients, and to offer an experience that goes far beyond simply dining. An address we recommend without hesitation. Recently under new ownership, the Auberge de la Galerie is a magical place. The setting is particularly charming. The delicious meats are cooked over a wood fire in the fireplace. A well-chosen wine list is offered at reasonable prices. Take advantage of the rest of summer to treat yourself to a romantic dinner or a meal with friends on the terrace. It’s a super little spot ! The quality of the food and service is impeccable! They just changed ownership and the ‘reserve’ option on Google maps is outdated so best to call them or pass by. A true gem. For lovers of real food !

A very warm welcome in a setting typical of the Pays d'Auge region. We thoroughly enjoyed the lamb and the andouillette sausage. The portions were generous. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth a visit.
