Clean place, decent and plentiful meal. Just a minor point about the kidney dish: there should have been more kidneys and fewer mushrooms. Overall, very good.

On the "Carp Route" in the Sundgau region, along the Hirtzbach (Hirschbach) stream in the village of the same name, we enjoyed delicious traditional fried carp with fries and salad. The restaurant is located near the former train station, which offers information and free parking. A garden lies behind the station. In January, the village's floral splendor is still missing. Not far from the restaurant is the neoclassical St. Maurice Church, built in 1837. The de Reinach family, whose castle also dates back to the 19th century, is buried here. It's well worth stopping at Restaurant Munzenberger to enjoy carp or other Alsatian specialties!

We had a very pleasant time, a warm welcome, the carp were excellent, as were the side dishes. We always enjoy coming here and we will be back.
