Reasonably good food. The tables are VERY close together. The flowers on the table were unfortunately wilted and the same piano concerto was playing as music. Reasonably OK but there are still some points for improvement.

Delicious cuisine, appetizing and beautifully presented plates (the veal was really very good). Very warm and friendly welcome and service.

Back in Cayeux, we chose to return to the same restaurant (5 years later). The atmosphere is still the same, old-fashioned France, and the service is managed with an iron fist by the owner. We don't really understand the menu, the blackboards, and the main courses with desserts. A simplification would be welcome, especially for our foreign friends who don't understand anything. The quality of the dishes is still there. As for the oysters, it would be a good idea to rinse them under water because the mud taste isn't very pleasant. I don't know where they're farmed, but they're not great, and they're not worth the price. A second slice of lemon would be generous. The old-fashioned France atmosphere is great, the service friendly (not even the owner), and we'll be back...in 5 years. Otherwise, the price of €44.50 (main course + dessert) is too high.

Excellent table: originality, quality and faultless service. Very beautiful presentation of scallops, excellent oysters and divine “lost bread”.

We are in the bath from the reception which is not very welcoming. Then after waiting a good while they bring us the cards and then it's a knockout from the aperitif with a low-end kir at €7.95 with a hint of blackcurrant. The egg casserole is a boiled egg with its cinema, the Maroilles option must have been forgotten 🤔. The mussels were ordinary and the bacon omelette looked like the latter. Fortunately, the homemade desserts, which is rare enough to point out, were tasty, fortunately given their price of €9.95 In short, I don't recommend

We are very mixed about this restaurant. We ate there with 5 adults. We were not very convinced by the main course (4 different dishes), however the desserts were excellent. The service and friendliness should largely be reviewed. In fact, we didn't like the aperitif toasts (admittedly original) and the manager told us unpleasantly that it was going to end up in the trash. Indeed, when ordering we have to choose from aperitif to dessert without knowing if we would still be hungry for it. Regarding prices, I find that some products are expensive. Paying so much for a homemade dessert at 10€, I can still understand it, but at 5€ for a coke, 8€ for a mini kir, I have more trouble... The place is well decorated but very small and a little cool.

Fresh products prepared with care, with a very beautiful presentation. Top service and wonderful attention to the dogs. Quality wines… all with very good value for money given the quality of what is served. In short, to try.
