It was Sunday for lunch.The restaurant was very busy with locals. The food is honest decent food.Service was good considering how crowded it was.

The “Sunday menu” at €33 (€51 with aperitif and 1 glass of wine) very disappointing. Not bad of course, but very average (for the "gratin dauphinois" the cook can find real recipes on the internet (but his potato bread does not deserve this name). What a drop in quality since the change of ownership.

16/08/2024: Une brasserie bien située au cœur ❤️ de jonzac à deux pas du marché,le service est inexistant le patron survolé les tables mais ne vois pas claire, la prise de commande aléatoire l'entrée du jour bonne et correcte mais le plat un vrai dessartre pourtant c'était la 5x que nous venions mais je crois que c'est la dernière fois.

21/06/2024: What a great restaurant! They serve delicious lunch dishes that not only taste great, but the presentation is also excellent. Smooth and modest service from the host and hostess. We have been traveling through France for a month now 🇫🇷 from Alsace to Brittany and have had lunch in the French country several times. This lunch (3 courses for 20.50 euros) in Restaurant Le Jonzacais was great! There is a bar, an outdoor terrace and an indoor restaurant. Everything looks attractive and inviting. Compliments to the chef!
27/05/2024: Even just for a little afternoon refreshment, the service is very friendly and the setting pleasant!
