Delicious homemade dishes and a very friendly welcome. Nothing is overdone, but everything is of excellent quality.

Looking for a quick place to eat while preparing for a canal cruise from Migennes to Auxerre. Just across the street is an unassuming corner restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere and wine! Did not expect such a great meal with wife and I getting chèvre and italiene salads. The aromas in the dining area were hard to resist, especially the deserts! Will be going back there tomorrow for dinner and looking forward to the meals. Do not miss this when you are in Migennes…really.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Canal restaurant. The food was excellent: the roast chicken 🐔 was delicious, accompanied by perfectly prepared homemade fries 🥔🍟. The homemade sauces were also superb and truly enhanced the dish. 🤤 The atmosphere was fantastic, with a DJ who kept the party going all evening. The place is warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Whether you're looking for a drink, a platter to share with friends, or a delicious meal, there's something for everyone. A big thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back!

A warm welcome, the smiles are delightful. The food is excellent. The price is reasonable. We love the cozy and inviting atmosphere. A truly delicious meal! Highly recommended!!

A waitress tried to mitigate the unprofessionalism of our waitress, but the damage was done. We were hoping for at least a decent lunch, but we were disappointed. The fish and chips was mediocre, the fish overcooked, unlike the fries. Only the crema catalana was acceptable, and admittedly the bottle of wine was very good. In short, this bistro is expensive.

Passing through the area, we had a very good restaurant, everything homemade at a reasonable price, with friendly staff. It's a shame we live so far away because we would have become regular customers.

Good quality food. Very affordable price: starter, main course, and dessert for €17. Efficient and quick service. I recommend it.
