14/09/2024: We had a great visit to the La Champagnotheque this week! I highly recommend stopping by for a tasting, to buy some wine and/or for a tasting and a snack (we had the cheese and charcuterie plate, which was great). The owner has a wonderful love of Champagne and sharing it and we really enjoyed the wines we tried and the one bottle we bought (Richomme, Génération 2017), which was exactly the taste profile we described liking. The wines are a careful and impressive selection of independent local producers and the owner has all the information about them and every bottle. What a wonderful place that I cannot recommend enough! I hope we will someday come back.

11/09/2024: Wonderful place to taste Champagne with expert advice and explanation about the varieties of grapes and champagnes. Matthieu and his cousin were excellent hosts who gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed the experience. We sampled and purchased a selection of champagne which we thought was a very reasonable price. We recommend stopping here for an informative tasting, snack and shopping.
