Restaurant du Sô sur Le Val-D'Ajol

We went to Restaurant du So several times during our stay in Val d’Ajol. When we made our reservations, we were always informed that they didn't have pizza at the time. We tried various dishes from the menu, particularly the prawn skewer with generous pieces of roasted exotic fruit, the poke bowl, and the pulled pork burger. We will gladly return.

Fantastic find! I knew when I made the reservation that there wouldn't be any pizzas (staffing issues...). The grilled prawns more than made up for my pizza craving. Perfectly cooked and served with roasted tropical fruit. Delicious! The dessert was equally impressive, a lovely chocolate fondant. Thank you also for the quick and friendly service. Highly recommended!

A wonderful discovery during our mountain bike ride through Val d'Ajol. The food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily special. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great restaurant for a hot lunch. We had the hamburgers with fries.

While passing through the area, we stopped for a meal with my fiancée and grandparents. My grandmother ordered the set menu, my fiancée had a pizza, and my grandfather and I each had a sirloin steak. Everything was delicious! There was a slight wait, but it was easily forgiven given the quality of the food and the fact that the restaurant was quite busy that day (around sixty covers). We hadn't even finished our aperitifs when they brought us the pizzas, even though we were told there would be a long wait. The pizza dough was undercooked and heavy. Disappointed.

If you're looking for a small restaurant to simply treat yourself... this place is fabulous, from the kindness of the reception staff to the delicious desserts, not forgetting the succulent dishes... thank you for this magical moment

We ordered 3 pizzas to take away. About an hour's wait (enough time for an aperitif!). Decent value for money.

When we work in the area, it's a pleasure to eat at this restaurant. They generally use good local produce, everything is homemade from appetizer to dessert, and there's a good selection too. The daily menu was excellent; I'll be back on a weekend to try the regular menu.
