The best Asian restaurant in Marseille! It's as beautiful as it is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch! I highly recommend it!

LE TÂM TÂM (formerly HOANG) is a delightful little shop specializing in Vietnamese cuisine, also offering sushi. The shop is small but well-planned, with about 7 tables seating around 30 people. The environment is clean, comfortable, and simply yet thoughtfully decorated. The owner is very welcoming; even though his English isn't fluent, he patiently explained the menu using a mobile phone translator and pictures, leaving a lasting impression with his service. As for the food, the pho and fried noodles were consistently good and flavorful; the fried pork was a bit salty, best enjoyed with rice, but the rice was a bit pricey on its own (€3.50). The fried rice was delicious, but the portion was small and the price was a bit high (€6.50), making it only average value for money. On a second visit the following day, the rice noodles were plentiful and flavorful; the sushi was a pleasant surprise, with thick, fresh fish slices, exceeding expectations overall. Although a bit far from Marseille's Old Port, it's still relatively easy to get to. Compared to restaurants in tourist areas that are expensive and of inconsistent quality, this place offers a more comfortable dining environment and friendly service, making it a high-value option worth making a special trip for.
