26/02/2026: We absolutely loved L'Absinthe. You can tell it's run by passionate people. We enjoyed every bite, from appetizer to dessert; everything was just right and perfectly balanced. It's the kind of restaurant you wish you had right downstairs every day. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

It's delicious, it's hearty, it's top-notch!
The only downside is that there were five of us and we waited an hour for everything to be served, so don't be in a hurry.
03/02/2026: It was my first visit to Coogee and I was pleasantly surprised.
The food is very good, the dishes are beautifully presented, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is truly lovely.
A great find for breakfast; I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

14/04/2026: I was served by Inaya, I believe, a wonderful waitress who was always smiling, meticulous in preparing orders, and made sure the customer was comfortable. Beyond that, the dining room was clean despite it being the end of service. I highly recommend it.

16/03/2026: The food is so delicious. We picked up several tapas from menu and all was perfect. It was strange that the main part of restaurant was for smoking people. When we asked for a non-smoking area, it was only a few tables in front of kitchen service area. There were only a few people who were smoking, then we changed our table. It was ao cold inside.
14/03/2026: HEALTH SCANDAL!!!! We came as a group of 5, and out of 5 people, 4 vomited that same night. The common factor: we ate the same tapas! The same thing happened to me a few years ago when I ate there… I was sick all night. Hygiene and storage rules were clearly not followed…. A scandal considering your prices!
