Restaurant IKEA sur Thiais

Store visited today, inspiring and pleasant with helpful staff. I recommend it.

We went to Thiais to finalize a kitchen order and were greeted by Zahra, a highly competent and friendly consultant who answered all our questions. Thank you sincerely to her.

Ikea, or the art of leaving with everything but what you came for It's Ikea. Product names seemingly generated by a random syllable generator. Prices that have clearly skyrocketed, but a food court so inviting you could practically work from home without anyone batting an eye. "Come for a 10-minute visit, left 3 hours later" or "came for a shelf, left with a 130-kilo cart" could almost be featured on their official warning sign at the entrance. As for the salesperson, there's no magic button: just the hope of stumbling upon one before everyone else, a mission whose secret remains a complete mystery to this day. Some wait so long that you suspect their loved ones have finally put out a missing person's report. But once you've caught them, you can't deny them this: always offering good advice, and never lacking in patience to guide you out of the maze. In summary: it's a waste of time, it's not necessarily the best value for money, but you always come back.

I am very pleased to have been welcomed by Mr. Iakov and Ms. Eva. I have health problems, and they have been very helpful. I thank them for their service and their kindness towards me.

Choosing a mattress isn't always easy. Catherine gave excellent advice. She was very helpful and patient.

I'm disappointed with the complaints handling; there's absolutely no flexibility if our case "doesn't fit the mold." Initially, due to incorrect directions from the store, I took the wrong item to return (when I arrived at the warehouse, I had to find the correct location on the app, and that's where I made the mistake). Two days later, I requested an exchange, but I had to arrange to return the item myself (a 140x200cm mattress weighing 50kg, already unrolled!). The returns/exchange department initially told me they couldn't exchange the mattress unless I returned it; I had to call the complaints department. At that point, they couldn't do anything; I had to deal with the store that had made the error. Back at customer service, I mentioned seeing on the app that there's a collection service for returning mattresses and asked for a goodwill gesture. "Oh yes, but apparently it's my fault," I said, "I should have requested delivery from a salesperson." However, firstly, the mattress, rolled up in its box, fit perfectly in my car, and secondly, there were no salespeople in the bedding department when I was doing all my research and trying out mattresses. Never mind, I should have guessed that the salespeople in the wardrobe department were also assigned to the bedding department! In the end, it cost me €60 for transport as part of the return process (no exchange possible), two trips back and forth to customer service, the whole ordeal took over a week, and I'm sleeping in my son's bed while waiting for the return and refund for the incorrect mattress and the purchase of a new one! Note: On the day of my second visit to customer service (two days after my first report), I observed that the location had still not been corrected on the mattress's display sheet...
