I came with my mother for lunch today. It had been several years since our last visit. A very warm welcome. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick service, except for the drinks. (I was very thirsty!) For starters, we had whelks, then a plate of frog legs with mashed potatoes for her and eels for me with sautéed vegetables. The presentation was nice and the portions quite generous. I found the deep plate for the eels really unsuitable. They needed a few more minutes of cooking, and the flesh was very difficult to separate from the main bone. Shelling them was therefore laborious in such a dish. Taste-wise: everything was sorely lacking in seasoning; salt, pepper, and garlic were completely undetectable. The mayonnaise was very good. The bread was very average. The sautéed vegetables should have been drained. They were swimming in butter. Quite disgusting. So, rather mixed feelings, even disappointed considering the prices of the dishes...

The setting is very pleasant, the meal was very good, and the service was very friendly. We will gladly return 👍

Our favorite restaurant since forever

First time here, we really enjoyed it except for the wait before our aperitif, which arrived warm, and the wait before the starter (45 minutes in total). So, having arrived at 1:30 pm, we didn't leave until 3:15 pm and had to wolf down dessert in 10 minutes because we had booked a guided tour of the wine museum at 3:30 pm... but otherwise everything was very good and the staff very friendly. I especially loved the smoked haddock with the sauerkraut; I've never had it so good! Usually, it's dry and too salty: this was the complete opposite, very tender and delicious. Thank you!

We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal; the staff were pleasant. The only slight drawback: when booking online, we were asked if we had an event to celebrate, which we did: my birthday and our wedding anniversary. A small gesture would have been nice. Otherwise, no complaints. Thank you.

Very friendly service, excellent food. Despite our limited language skills and a misunderstanding when ordering, everyone was incredibly kind. The crème brûlée was the best ever! We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you! Unfortunately, it's not very suitable for vegetarians…
