Restaurant la Chaumiere sur Chantraine

Via een toeristische route met de auto op weg naar Epinal stuitten we toevallig op dit restaurant. De buitenkant oogde niet bijzonder gezellig, maar het was handig parkeren en we hadden trek. Eenmaal binnen werden we prettig verrast: we konden in de schaduw zitten op een ruim terras, de bediening was bijzonder vriendelijk, het eten was voortreffelijk en heel schappelijk geprijsd (lunchmenu). We zouden graag vaker langskomen wanneer we in de buurt zouden wonen. We houden de herinnering warm door nu zelf de meloengaspacho met basilicumschuim te maken!

We recently had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant, and what a wonderful experience! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile. The service was discreet, fast and remarkably efficient. At no time did we lack anything. The dishes served were simply excellent. Each bite was a treat to our taste buds, showcasing perfectly balanced flavors. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef at the end of the meal, which added a warm, personal touch. Our sincere congratulations go to him, the pastry chef and his entire team! The desserts were delicate and beautifully presented, a real treat for the eyes and the palate. The selection of cheeses, presented on a charming trolley, was a delight. We ate inside the restaurant, which had a very friendly atmosphere. The tables are judiciously spaced, which allows you to feel comfortable and fully enjoy the moment. In short, we recommend this restaurant with enthusiasm and fervor. It is an essential address for lovers of good cuisine and pleasant moments.

It's been a long time since I ate here, I'm considering going back as soon as possible, not as an employee like when I was just an intern in 2018 or 2019 I know no longer this time but as a customer. A few years ago I had a wonderful experience with good people who taught me a lot. I'm more interested in being a waiter (but if I had to go back one day I would only accept them lol), this team is proof that there are not only rotten people in the restaurant business. And even though it's been a long time, I admit that of all the catering companies I've worked in, this one was by far the best experience I've had. #Virgil vuillemard your former head-in-the-air intern.

Peu de clients pour un jour férié. Pas de reproches significatifs. Rapport Q/P moyen...malgré une bonne cuisine. A noter toutefois la "pauvreté " de la quenelle qui n'est pas à la hauteur des espérances.

we had a real treat for the taste buds. only negative point: digestion was difficult as we ate so much! I recommend
