Restaurant La Paix sur Paris

04/10/2026: We arrived quite late in the evening because we simply couldn't be bothered to cook, and in the end, it was a great find! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. We ordered rice noodle soup with satay and noodle soup with roast duck. Honestly, the roast duck was incredible, absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous; we definitely didn't leave hungry. Special mention also goes to the three-color dessert! It was absolutely delicious, and it's quite rare to find such a good dessert these days. It wasn't too sweet, just right. Another nice touch: everything is provided on the tables (soy sauce, small green chilies, salt, pepper, sugar, hot sauce, etc.), allowing you to season to your liking. The service was quick and efficient, and the dishes were tasty and plentiful. We left with full stomachs and very happy with our discovery! I highly recommend it, we'll gladly return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

29/09/2026: An Asian restaurant I've been going to for over 20 years, one of my go-to spots in the 13th arrondissement. I came back tonight after several years abroad, just passing through Paris, to order "loc lac rice," one of their specialties, and what a disappointment! I had to change the dish twice. The first time, the meat was overcooked, almost burnt, and the second time, it still wasn't right, even though it's supposed to be melt-in-your-mouth tender—that's the very essence of this dish. Yet last week, I ordered the same thing at their competitor right next door, a well-known chain whose name starts with T... It was very good, a proper Loc Lac, in short. Hao Hao really needs to rethink things because I get the impression it's become a soulless factory with a customer service that needs a complete overhaul.
