Came for 1 night Cheap hotel for the location and comfort of the room Friendly welcome

WOW!! If you ever go to Angouleme, France (and you should)… This really is a great place to stay and a few minutes walk to the city center. Mike and family are such welcoming hosts, so incredibly kind and great to speak to as he speaks really good English if you’re like me and haven’t learned enough French to be proficient 😆. Amazing atmosphere, service and the room is extremely clean and well kept. I was brought breakfast to my room without asking, it was offered, freshly baked croissants with jams, bread, yogurt, Cafe Latte etc (proper French breakfast). I stayed in room 10 with an amazing balcony view overlooking Angouleme. I feel at home when I am thousands of miles away from home. I just can’t say enough to express my gratitude for this stay, I would pay double what I paid to stay here hands down! Merci beaucoup!!!!!

Family hotel which is unfortunately closed. Excellent welcome, room in good condition and well maintained. Well located because not far from the station and close to the city center.

As evidenced by the reviews, it is probably the best hotel in terms of quality/price in Angoulême. It's family-run, the owners are very friendly and the rooms are spotless, plus the hotel is well located For stopover evenings they have a partner restaurant which is very correct, the menu costs around €20

The owners are very welcoming, kind and accommodating. Various and good breakfasts. Regarding cleanliness, nothing to say!!!!

Cleanliness very good not very easy Parking

It’s 2 star so room was as expected but the air con worked really well, shower was good and bed comfortable. All you need. The duty manager was really great, very friendly, good English and obliging with information. Highly recommend if you need a night or two at a budget rate. To be aware - check in is 4pm so the place isn’t staffed until then, not sure from what time it is closed but take note if arriving before 4pm - we arrived just before so it was ok to wait ten minutes.
