Restaurant La Presqu'ile sur Cassis

A simply wonderful meal; the dishes followed one another with a quality worthy of a Michelin star, with a special mention for the red mullet. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of meeting the young chef, who is very friendly. With a few minor adjustments to the service, a star is within reach.

A very pleasant experience and excellent service.

We ordered two tasting menus at €105 each and thoroughly enjoyed them from start to finish! Everything was truly delicious, with wonderful combinations and perfectly proportioned portions: we left feeling satisfied without being overly full. The service was impeccable. The waiter who looked after us was lovely, very attentive, and pleasant throughout the meal. Finally, the setting is absolutely stunning. A wonderful discovery; we highly recommend it! 😊

An exceptional culinary and local experience. The very young chef, Hugo Lamboulé, has nothing to envy from Michelin-starred chefs and will undoubtedly soon be rewarded for his work—at least, we hope so! Beautifully executed dishes. A taste of both quality and beauty. A discovery of the region at the same time, thanks to the use of the finest local products. The chef is also a genuinely kind, humble, and approachable person who enjoys interacting with his guests. The setting is magnificent (a breathtaking sea view) but would be even more stunning if the parasol bases on the unused terrace, the old gray tarpaulin on the lower terrace, and the white tarpaulin on the upper terrace were removed. In short, a few small details that would make the place truly exceptional and in keeping with the cuisine offered. We will gladly return!

First visit to this restaurant. A change of chef in March 2026: Hugo Lamboulé, only 25 years old! Refined, modern cuisine showcasing regional products. A true culinary journey. Great creativity, meticulous attention to detail in each dish while maintaining a spirit of simplicity with the ingredients. In just a few months, the restaurant earned a Michelin star thanks to this extremely likeable young chef, who is destined for a bright future. He is so talented and well-liked that his entire team of 11, I believe, followed him when he left his previous restaurant in Lorraine. The rest of the team is lovely. The setting is, of course, magnificent and peaceful, but it could be improved. A few renovations and decorative touches on the terrace and between the terrace and the sea would be enough to elevate the restaurant and earn a Michelin star.

Perfect meal and excellent service

A bit surprised by other negative comments for this restaurant. We are used to fine dining restaurants, were hoping to get a table at the 3 Michelin star restaurant in cassis that night but it was closed so we decided to book at La Presqu’île. We absolutely loved everything and are surprised why they don’t have a star. All the dishes had something surprising, they were all perfectly balanced and executed. Especially the 30h veal was incredible. I’ve never had a veal like this before. Service was impeccable and atmosphere was stunning (you cannot beat that view) Disappointed to see that some people write poor review because « they can hear people cleaning the dishes in the kitchen » and « atmosphere could have been better with more ambient light on the terrasse ». It doesn’t give the food justice.
