Restaurant La Salamandre sur Nogent-Sur-Marne

Excellent place! The food was delicious. The service was quick and the staff very welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for having a good time. I highly recommend it and we will be back. Team Séché 🍃

My previous review was in 2023, and I gave it a 5. We returned once or twice in 2024, and everything was good. But today we were disappointed. We ordered two menus for €49. The impression we were left with was that everything was too soft, even liquid. For example, the octopus was good, well-cooked, but served with a carrot puree and only two small pieces of grilled bacon: with six pieces, the dish would have been more balanced and crispier. The "marron" dessert didn't live up to our expectations; the speculoos spices in the base dominated the dish, overpowering the flavor of the chestnut. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Delicious and beautifully presented. We took the opportunity to try a Slovenian white wine. Cheeses at Mr Fromage in Nogent: excellent Maroilles, but I'm less enthusiastic about the Parmesan, which was deliberately chosen very young; I would have preferred a good Comté. We'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely time at this restaurant for my husband's 35th birthday. The person who greeted us and also served us was very welcoming. The dishes were delicious and generous. We chose the La Salamandre menu. The restaurant is spacious yet very intimate. However, I found the non-alcoholic cocktail a bit pricey and not very flavorful. I recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent service.
