Restaurant La Verrière sur Deauville

For my first meal at La Verrière, everything was delicious and plentiful, from the appetizer to the dessert (at a reasonable price for lunch: €25 including set menu)!! My friend agreed. As an added bonus, the staff were friendly and the dining room was small but charming. I will definitely be back to introduce this restaurant to other friends 😌

How to put it... all the best of "Top Chef": a very reasonably priced lunch menu... small starters in portions carefully chosen for their lightness, eggs placed on al dente potatoes (ah, those tubers offer unparalleled chewiness! How original!). Pulled beef served lukewarm because of global warming, bravo! Meat with a very well-thought-out mint sauce (but I could be wrong) (watercress? Mint? Both? Why not!). In short, a superb idea. And the braised cauliflower was excellent (when will they stop with the pan-fried crisp vegetables? A nitpicker might criticize: never, I hope!). The spiced dessert was unsurpassable (ah, that little twist of chili in the sweetness that evokes such rare and beautiful things!). In short, demanding, usefully complex, and meticulously crafted cuisine. A very good point: a lovely and highly professional waitress. A restaurant run with masterful skill, well worth a visit for anyone who appreciates authentic ingredients. THERE YOU HAVE IT. Go there. The set menu is indeed €60 for two.

We came on a friend's recommendation and wow! Our taste buds were blown away! A one-page menu, a guarantee of quality and fresh ingredients, and an incredibly warm welcome from Grégoire. And what can I say about Camille, discreet and calm in the kitchen… she amazed us with her bold flavor combinations. I was salivating during the menu presentation and thoroughly enjoyed my meal! A family dinner for five, expertly prepared by Grégoire, the host and conductor of our meal, exceeded our expectations. The dishes were creative in both flavor and presentation. Even our daughter thoroughly enjoyed them. The wine selection was also excellent, offering a wide and carefully chosen range. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
