Restaurant La Verrière sur Deauville

The food was en excellent mix between classical French and ingenious new flavours. Every bite was absolute heaven. The service is also kind and the chef even comes to the table to genuinely ask for feedback and to give you an explanation about the origine of the fresh produce. This is what dining at a restaurant should feel like! An absolute must if you find yourself in the middle of a culinary capital like Lyon.

The lunch menu is very affordable, but the service is far too slow for a lunch break. We waited over 30 minutes for our main courses and over 20 minutes for desserts, despite repeatedly asking for them. The dishes arrived cold. An hour and a half for a set lunch menu (main course and dessert) on a weekday—you really need to have a long lunch break.

A truly wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic evening at La Verrière. Everything was perfect for a great time: absolutely delicious food, original and refined flavor combinations, and some truly delightful surprises on our plates. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! And then there's the welcome… Grégoire is so attentive, warm, and caring, which greatly contributes to the restaurant's atmosphere. You can feel his genuine passion and, above all, his desire to share wonderful things and ensure everyone has a great time. The atmosphere is truly pleasant and friendly. You feel comfortable, you can take your time, you savor the moment… and you leave with a smile. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. We loved it and we will definitely be back! ✨

A truly fantastic restaurant. Cozy, with a great atmosphere. We arrived early, so it wasn't very busy, which even allowed us to chat briefly with the chef, who wanted his opinion on his new chuck roast recipe. The starter, main course, and dessert were all excellent and quite generous. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. The only downside is the price of the "starter/main" or "main/dessert" menu, which is very close to the all-inclusive price. I recommend you try it for yourself ;)

Great restaurant, ideally located near the Brotteaux district and all its amenities. The food is excellent, the ingredients are high quality, and the staff is very attentive to customers! A wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!!

Delicious and very pleasant staff!

Excellent restaurant; the presentation of the dishes is meticulous, and each dish is delicious and refined. The staff explained the specific characteristics of each dish, which contributed to a truly exceptional dining experience. I particularly recommend the beef tataki and the chocolate fondant.

Very friendly service and absolutely delicious set lunch menu. We left very full and very satisfied. Next time I am in Lyon I will try to come for dinner. €25 for starter, main and dessert. Great value. The chef was happy to chat with us, and if you are vegetarian he offered to make a vegetarian main on the spot.

We went with our dog, and they treated us very well. We're also vegetarians, and they prepared a delicious off-menu dish for us.
