A really lovely very French restaurant in a stunning location. Classic dishes all served very well made with fresh, in-season produce. Very generous serving of dessert wine instead of pudding for me! The river is absolutely stunning and once night descends you're treated to a display from the well trained team of beautiful Giant Peacock Moths. Apparently this is the first year they've had them and there are currently 5. I'm attaching my best attempt at a photo. There are other sights to see very close by too including the Roc d'Enfer. Huge car park so no challenge there either.
Definitely recommended.

While visiting the Lathus educational farm, we had lunch by the Gartempe River at the La Voulzie restaurant. The welcome, service, and cuisine were all top-notch; we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a gourmet experience in this idyllic setting.
