Fabulous lunch. What a great find. Travelling from Zurich to Belfort and searched for somewhere on a Sunday. Not many places open. Food was lovely and big portions

We had a wonderful dining experience at L’Ancienne Gare. The beef tenderloin was absolutely perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The shrimp was also excellent and definitely something I would recommend. Even though I don’t speak French, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were all exceptional. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!

A lovely little place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had the €30 set menu (fried carp) and it was excellent and a generous portion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. The welcome was friendly, and the staff professional. The service was quick, the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. No complaints whatsoever; I highly recommend it.

Good restaurant, very high-quality products. A minor drawback was the frogs' legs... far too small and a very long wait to be served. An hour and a half... and lately the chef has been a bit heavy-handed with the salt.

As a customer for several years now, without ever having thought to write a review, we enjoyed a delicious fried carp at lunchtime: the food was of very high quality, and the portions were more than generous. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The waiter was very pleasant and professional. I recommend L'Ancienne Gare if you want to have a good time enjoying delicious food!

30/07/2026: For the first time, we ate at this restaurant as a couple. The welcome was excellent, and the starters, main courses, and desserts were all top-notch, beautifully presented, and delicious – kudos to the chef! However, the major drawback was the swarm of flies around our table and chairs. They were everywhere, every three seconds, flying everywhere – blowflies and gnats. We had to shoo them away, holding our forks with one hand and using the other to chase them away. It was infernal! We pointed it out to the waitress twice, but unfortunately, she couldn't do anything. I should mention that we ate inside, not outside... We were extremely disappointed with this restaurant.
22/07/2026: A nice little restaurant with a quaint atmosphere in Giromagny. A pleasant break for motorcyclists.
