Restaurant L'ancienne Gare sur Giromagny

Passing through the nearby motorhome area, we ate and discovered a very nice place with excellent service and generous portions. I recommend it.

A very good dining experience: the food was delicious and the service particularly fast. However, we were very uncomfortable with the owner's attitude; she was far too pushy and overly familiar with our 16-month-old baby. A little more distance and restraint would have been appreciated.

Hello, Let's start with the drinks: - Soda served in a glass: the option to serve a generic brand is unacceptable for a quality restaurant. - Self-service champagne: unfortunately, this lacks efficiency and professionalism. The head waitress sitting at her desk at 1 p.m. is truly unacceptable. The young waiter was doing everything himself, which is a shame to see. Regarding the food: truly excellent! Two beautiful slices of foie gras, which is quite rare and extremely appreciated. High-quality meat, perfectly cooked. The chefs know how to cook, well done! Overall, this is a quality establishment. The French meats, for the most part, are excellent, and that's a real plus. One small drawback, however: the dining room is quite noisy. Go there for a good meal, honestly. The quality/price/quantity ratio is exceptional, perhaps even one of the best in the area. Despite the dining experience being somewhat marred by the elderly woman, the overall rating remains very positive. Address the issues mentioned earlier and everything will be perfect!

Excellent value for money, very warm welcome and excellent service. The meat was cooked to perfection. A wide selection of ice cream sundaes. We enjoyed our meal on the pleasant terrace, and the dining room is also very inviting.

Fabulous lunch. What a great find. Travelling from Zurich to Belfort and searched for somewhere on a Sunday. Not many places open. Food was lovely and big portions

We had a wonderful dining experience at L’Ancienne Gare. The beef tenderloin was absolutely perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The shrimp was also excellent and definitely something I would recommend. Even though I don’t speak French, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were all exceptional. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!

A lovely little place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had the €30 set menu (fried carp) and it was excellent and a generous portion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just one thing to say: the plate was too full, but otherwise, nothing to say!
