A lovely spot nestled in an artsy courtyard, a bohemian yet decidedly bourgeois wine cellar, and delicious food. A delightful evening at reasonable prices in a unique setting.

It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

Hidden away but close to the coliseum, Le 9 is a true gem. Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food, reasonable prices. Can't go wrong.

I highly recommend Restaurant Le 9. If you're looking for an intimate, secluded spot and want to enjoy truly excellent cuisine, this is the perfect restaurant! The staff is lovely! The food is wonderfully delicious.

A wonderful setting with a varied menu. The starter choice was very interesting and diverse. The main courses lacked a little in terms of hot choices but the Côte de Boeuf we shared was impeccable. The wine menu is short but the Bandol we chose was delicious. The single waiter was lovely and polite but became a little stretched as the night got busier.

The place is very pleasant and the staff equally welcoming. The cuisine features local produce and fresh ingredients, and is very good.

A cuisine that goes against the grain, with exceptional quantity, fresh ingredients, and attentive service that takes care of you without being intrusive. In short, a raw cuisine with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. In essence, no frills on the plate, no tiny dots of sauce, but flavorful and generous cuisine :) A fine wine list, and if you're a connoisseur, there's a hidden gem: it's truly worth the detour. The setting? You could easily imagine yourself in a Florentine patio, with a simply sumptuous ambiance and works of art surrounding your table. Everything is designed to ensure you have a wonderful time. You just have to understand the place: it's not a restaurant, but a timeless haven…
