Simple and very good food, very nice setting!

This restaurant in the center of Nîmes, unlike many other establishments, is not located directly on the street, but rather in a courtyard, a location that ensures greater tranquility and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is predominantly Provençal-inspired, with some Mediterranean touches. The quality of the food and ingredients is good, and the place has all the potential to offer a pleasant experience. The service, however, was truly disappointing. We waited about half an hour for the menu. When they finally asked us what we wanted to drink, we ordered water and a beer, but after another ten minutes, only the water arrived. Once we had ordered our food, we also requested other drinks, but these arrived even after the dishes. The service was overall slow, inattentive, and disorganized. To further degrade the overall impression, toward the end of the evening, the owner took off his shoes and began walking barefoot among the tables, leaving the young woman to manage the service alone. It's a real shame, because the location and cuisine have great potential. Unfortunately, considering the quality of the service, I wouldn't recommend it.

After a few months' absence, we're back at number 9. We found the cuisine to be sophisticated and delicious. A different and well-thought-out menu. I recommend it.

A superb restaurant nestled in the heart of the city center. The inner courtyard offers an intimate and charming setting, ideal for enjoying a delicious meal. The food is high quality, the prices are a bit high, but the experience is well worth it as you feel right at home. The servers and the owner are very friendly and let us finish our dinner in peace, even though the restaurant had been closed for almost an hour.
