Friendly bar and welcome, large sunny terrace when the sun is shining, coffee on the terrace for €2. One drawback, however: the chocolate fondant on offer (€6) is mass-produced and tasteless. But if you avoid this unfortunate choice, you should be perfectly satisfied with your visit.

The waitresses were super friendly and the dish was very generous and delicious.

I arrived early, what you might call "the end of the lunch service." Even with my insistence, I didn't really have a choice of where I was seated. Right next to the kitchen. I was able to fully enjoy the little bell that rings every time a dish is ready during my meal. I ordered a "butcher's cut" Rare. The choice for the side dish was quickly made, as I was given oily fries with pepper sauce and a small salad. I had a direct view of the dessert preparation, which gave me a sudden and hurried urge to finish my meal as soon as I'd finished my meat. The desserts are microwaved, and depending on the dessert, a nearly homemade custard, straight from a carton, is added. €24.30 for a piece of meat and half a bottle of water is still reasonable, even if the quality of the side dishes wasn't great. The setting is pleasant if you like a jazzy atmosphere and dining near the kitchen, even if the restaurant is empty.

A lovely welcome and a warm atmosphere with top-notch service. Special mention to the talented and attentive bartender, who passionately crafts delicious cocktails. A real gem in Le Carré in Ivry — I highly recommend it! ✨
