Ali has been the owner for 35 years. He doesn't just offer you food; he's a poet who takes you on a journey. Every dish is delicious and extraordinary. Everything is explained so you can savor it as if you were in Lebanon. It's a ritual. Thank you for this shared moment spent together. We've never had such a wonderful experience. Julien

A warm welcome, excellent cuisine, and top-notch staff. The mezze offer a wonderful introduction to Lebanese cuisine; it was so generous we couldn't finish it. We went there with colleagues during a business trip and had a fantastic evening, filled with laughter, smiles, and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere.

Authentic Lebanese cuisine, with plenty of mezze to share, including vegetarian and classic options. The kibbeh balls were spectacular, and the portions are quite generous. They also offer Lebanese beer. Recommended for discovering Lebanese cuisine.

14/07/2026: This was the best dining experience we’ve had in Paris. We started our day with lunch at a 3 star restaurant but decided to get dinner at the local 1 star place next to our hotel (Contraste) and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. The servers were excellent, the dishes were delicious, and despite having a once in a lifetime lunch- the strawberry dessert stood out as the best thing we’ve had in Paris. The cherry on top was the price compared to the quality and experience you would receive at comparable 1 star restaurants. Everyone visiting France should try Contraste. Thank you

09/07/2026: Everything was perfect: very pleasant waiter, impeccable cuisine, and elegant presentation of the dishes. 👌 Just one minor point: the restrooms were very clean, but the premises could use a good refresh. 🖌️
