In the heart of a small medieval village, a little gem of a restaurant, serving traditional local cuisine (and I mean that in no way a bad way), prepared by the lady of the house with local products, while the gentleman waits on the table. Reservations are recommended, as the dining room is small and communal. Choose from the menu; there's no à la carte selection. Today's choice is either kid goat or frog legs with a very creamy gratin dauphinois, followed by a starter, salad, local charcuterie, a choice of hard or soft cheese, petit fours, and wine. The price is €32 or €34 per person.
Please note that we share our meals with our neighbors. If you have difficulty communicating, this might be challenging for you, or perhaps you'd prefer to give it a try, because you're adventurous. This restaurant and this village are well worth a visit and an experience.
Thank you.
I recommend it. MP.
What to eat between Christmas and New Year's? We went as a family to Le Cellier for bouillabaisse. The portions were generous and flavorful... for most of us it was our first time trying bouillabaisse, and we were all very happy with this new culinary experience.
Excellent value for money.
Thank you very much.
